Graceland Celebrates Elvis Week
Thousands of devoted Elvis fans flock to Graceland in Memphis every year for Elvis Week, the annual series of events marking the anniversary of Presley’s death. This year’s festivities will include a hodgepodge of activities including concerts, dance parties, a midnight southern breakfast, a 5K run, bingo, horseback riding and a candlelight vigil. Tickets, which typically sell out fast run in the range of $90-$100.
This year’s Elvis Week will coincide with the release of a new 5 CD box set and an 80 page book, which contains photos, postcards, posters, fan letters and various Elvis memorabilia titled Young Man with the Big Beat.
